When comparing quotes from different insulation companies, make sure you compare apples to apples. Ask for a detailed breakdown of the exact work they are proposing to do. Ask questions if you don't understand something on your quote. If one company has an item on their quote and the other doesn't, chances are that the one that hasn't quoted an item doesn't plan on doing it.

Some companies will cut corners to get their cost down and make their quote look more attractive. Don't be fooled by this shady business practice.
