Updated Provincial Program Information
April 19, 2010 - the Ontario Provincial Government is still funding new pre-retrofit audits. Currently, the Ontario Provincial Government is reviewing their Ontario Home Energy Savings Program in light of the cancellation of the partnership program. We have confirmed that the Provincial Government will "continue to pay 50% of your home’s audit, up to $150. Audits will qualify you for up to $5,000 in provincial retrofit grants." The Ontario Ministry of Energy will continue to provide updates via their website. Please check their website regularly for updates. Updated Federal Program Information
As of March 31, 2010 - the Federal Government has cancelled funding to their portion of the EcoEnergy Retrofit Program for homeowners. The program will continue to be administered until March 31, 2011. If you have already booked an appointment for a pre-retrofit evaluation, have completed an evaluation or applied for re-entry to the program, you remain eligible to apply for a grant. Did you know that small and medium organizations can still receive grants under the Federal EcoEnergy Retrofit Program for Commercial, Institutional, and Industrial Buildings.
